The different seasons give different shades & different shapes to the foliage around. During the monsoon the leaves are green and fresh but during the Fall the same leaves dry up and crumble to the ground. Inspired from these fallen leaves, is this seating sculpture handcrafted in solid teak with special attention to the ergonomics for human comfort. Wooden Mi Cycle
With motorization in full speed there will be a time when the bi-cycle will become only a piece of decoration telling stories of how our predecessors were proud of possessing one.
With this fear in my mind, here I have tried to make this eco friendly mode of transportation a little more attractive for the new generation by creating a style statement through simple designing additions. The intention is to arouse consciousness about the hazards of the new fuel hogging modes and encourage them to resort to this mode once again.

Lava Table
What will happen if the global warming is unstoppable and the temperature keeps on rising? That was the thought running in my mind when i saw the ground cracked due to excessive heat. Suddenly this idea of having a piece of furniture with these beautiful cracks struck my mind and without wasting any time I tried to put the design on paper. These beautiful cracks would not be complete unless i can let some Lava flow through these cracks; this was getting more interesting as the red colour lava would definitely bring interest in the otherwise barren dried land which i was trying to depict in the piece of furniture.
Hollow blocks were made by transferring the cracks on to a template. These blocks were then assembled on a platform having trenches to facilitate the LED light panels.
The LED lights were giving a very good effect of the flames with very little consumption of electricity i:e 12 volts battery would run for almost 8 hours. The design of the table is simple & contemporary with straight & neat lines forming the block and the Ebony wood veneer is used with beautiful black grains to complement the simple lines of the design, without compromising the beauty of wooden furniture.
